Honestly, i'm not a fan of either. Whatever i read is mainly for entertainment purpose. But calling herself a lady? Your highness? Hahaha. Acting as if Queen Elizabeth is her grandma. Whatever, it's just a blog anyway. I'm not taking it seriously.

How i met my parents.

Trying hard not to copycat MM. Inspired by MM, I think i should write a post on how my parent's music taste influence my taste of music. Looking back at it now, i know some of the music are horrible beyond reason for the youngsters today. While i'm trying to locate the album cover in the internet, i had imagine everyone (not from the 80s) will be shocked that these groups exist in this world.

Well before we proceed i just want to say that my dad is a gadget lover. Long before people learn the word CD, my dad already had a CD player. To add the level of sombongness in my hormone, that CD player is a Sony. Oklah during that time, listening to CD is cool. But now even Myvi pun ada CD player. Duh no big deal! Kan? So every night and every weekend i will take time to listen to the CDs that my mum and dad bought. Here's comes the list and i tell you that i am actually ashamed/guilty/shocked that i had listen and enjoy some of it. *horror shouting in the background*

Name: Sade

Music category: R&B/soul (i think)

My mum loves Sade. The way to pronounce it? Not 'said' or 'sad' but 'sa' 'there'. The same way you will pronounce sate/satay. I can't remember the album cover but i do remember this picture. Mmmmh..... this picture is actually quite obscene...... (proved that i'm already a grown up now)

Name: Wilson Philips

Music category: 80s pop?

They are cousins and siblings. I don't think they sing or produce album anymore. But sometimes when i'm bored in the shower, i will sing my favourite song from this album. - You're in love. I'll give you 10 bucks if you know this song.

Category: pop/R & B

Don't worry you don't need Lasik treatement. This is Whitney Houston! Err... my mum's favourite singer. She was quite popular after the Bodyguard movie with Kevin Costner. And i..... will always...... loves you.......... *someone vomitting in the background*

Music category: Ermm....... i tell u later

The hair is still a big NO NO to the fashion police in Hollywood. I saw her recently in TV. She's still beautiful and energetic for a grandma. Good for you.

Category: again 80s pop

Some people might know her from American Idol. During the 80s, she was a dancer and singer. She had a dancing class and i imagine myself joining the class in the US. *shy*.

The song that i like from this album is Rush. Actually, before our NEW and COMPETITIVE oil price was announced, i thought of buying Toyota Rush. This song was the theme song that i has sung just to annoy my mum and directly pressuring her to agree with my decision to buy it.

Music category: Pop dance?

He's the plastic king. What? No, he's from the US, not Singapore. (The joke of the day). Beginning from the Jackson 5, people loves him and had been able to see past that err... not so original...err.... face. All the people of 80s are guilty of listening to his music. Hey but could you blame us? He was a pop star back then just like Britney Spears.

She doesn't need an introduction. She's still going strong until today. The first image was the cover album for the song Vision of Love. The second image was the album for the song One Sweet Day. The only difference for now and then is obviously the clothes she wear. It's getting skimpier day by day. I can still imagine the Lover Boy music video, not a big fan of it.

They are still popular with the song Hotel California. Nuff said.

My dad is a big fan but secretly i'm quite annoyed with their high pitch voice.

I saved the last two as my favourite. He's popular for the 'What a wonderful world' song and i assure you that you have listen it somewhere before. He's still my favourite playlist in my car and sometimes my friends will give me the look when i sang his song.

Name: The New Edition

Music category: cheesy soul/blues

Anyone who had this album- Under The Blue Moon but didn't want it, can you please donate it to me. Thank you. Popular for the song Earth Angel, Tears In My Heart etc is probably the most cheesiet album you have ever heard. Unfortunately, i cannot download it for free in the internet. That's just show how classic it is. If you are having some trouble to sleep, buy this album and hear the voice of the crooners.

Poem can make me happy

I don't know why i am so angry lately. I am angry with all this political instability, race and religion issues in my country. I had been wanting to write about this but never got the time to do it. I want to talk about my favourite poem and i am actually quite optimistic that you had heard it before. The poem is actually longer but i like the first part/verse of it.

Macam tak sesuai

I've been looking around some blogs oklah malay blog and i found something that disgust me a lot. They have been discussing about the you-know-who's badminton match with China in the Olympic Games recently. How he is a CHINESE representing Malaysia. Macam tak sesuai they say.

And i also remember reading blogs about how you-know-who representing Malaysia as our first Angkasawan. How he is a MALAY representing Malaysia. Macam tak sesuai they say.

WHAT THE HELL IS WRONG WITH YOU GUYS!!!!! WE ARE MALAYSIAN RIGHT?!

Even South Africa has Mat Salleh. Hello? Stupid kah? We are supposed to be a multi racial country kan.
